This device is busy or otherwise unusable by Xcode.
When the Xcode Organizer says, “This device is busy or otherwise unusable by Xcode.” Don’t bother rebooting our Mac or futzing with your certificates. Unplug the offending device. Restart it by holding down the lock button on top until prompted to “slide to power off”. Then plug it back into the USB port. When it has rebooted far enough Xcode will say, “waiting for device…” and then you’ll be green and off to the races again.
I also removed the device from the Xcode organizer using the “Remove from Organizer…”, but it returned as soon as it was connected.
I Googled this phrase and found nothing. So there you are, dear reader.
